The article considers the contribution of famous Canadian playwright Ukrainian descent George Ryga into English-Canadian theatre. most important feature Ryga’s style is a special attention to life, feelings, struggles downtrodden (marginalized, oppressed, neglected, abused) people in society (whether they are Indians, Ukrainians, Italians, or other nation nationality) with humane and dignified face under unbearable conditions physical, moral, existential survival. Psychological nuances presented by vividly, persuasively convincingly. one pillars building strong nationally-oriented EnglishCanadian theatre drama. Studies have pick up their tempo here Canada (where exists substantial literature on his creative heritage its peculiarities), especially Ukraine Ryga, unfortunately undeservedly, remains basically unknown unresearched, spite some positive steps towards appreciation recognition diverse literary for Ukraine).
